A beautiful fall evening greeted the Western Pennsylvania Slot Car Club on Saturday for a club race at Treesdale Motorplex. It was a three class event featuring the much anticipated Magna-traction “fairgrounds” stock cars on the dirt track oval.
The group much enjoyed the race events and the spirit of friendly competition. There was also a bit of modeling going on, and plenty of conversation about slot cars and a variety of other topics of the day.
Congratulations to the race winners and podium finishers, especially Kevin Stevenson who dominated in the stock T-jet class and took his first WPSCC super stock T-jet win. As always thank you to everyone attending for making it another enjoyable slot car event.
